Dr. Nirala Jacobi, BHSc, ND

Naturopathic Doctor and Clinic Director

Dr. Nirala Jacobi is a naturopathic doctor (ND) and internationally recognized expert on small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO). She is the creator of the SIBO Biphasic Diet, a resource that has helped tens of thousands of SIBO sufferers around the world.

Dr. Jacobi is the host of The SIBO Doctor Podcast and the founder of The SIBO Doctor, an online educational platform that includes a practitioner certification program. She is also the medical director of SIBOtest, providing innovative testing options for SIBO and IBS.

Dr. Jacobi is known for her systematic and effective approach to diagnosing and treating SIBO and other functional digestive disorders. Having received her naturopathic doctorate in 1998 from the esteemed Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington, she brings more than two decades of clinical experience and expertise to the Biome Clinic.

Naturopath and Clinical Nutritionist

Anne is a Naturopath and Clinical Nutritionist with Advanced Diplomas in Naturopathy, Nutrition, and Western Herbal Medicine. With more than 30 years of experience, she uses food and nutrition to address metabolic dysfunction, food and chemical sensitivities, and functional digestive health.

Anne is both a clinician and educator. She has lectured to medical students at Griffith University on Clinical Nutrition and Naturopathy and presented for the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM).

Anne provides patients at the Biome Clinic with in-depth Biome Nutritional Analyses. She helps navigate the food sensitivities, intolerances, and nutritional deficiencies that can accompany functional digestive disorders and empowers patients with resources to optimize their nutrition and health.

Naturopath

Emily is a Naturopath with Advanced Diplomas in Naturopathy, Nutrition, and Western Herbal Medicine as well as postgraduate studies in Medicines Management and Evidence Based Complementary Medicine.

Emily has worked closely with Dr. Nirala Jacobi in the testing and natural treatment of SIBO and functional digestive disorders for the last 10 years. Along with her role as a practitioner at the Biome Clinic, Emily has also served as Operations Manager and Practitioner Consultant for the SIBO testing facility (SIBOtest).

Emily takes a holistic and evidence-based approach to medicine, drawing on traditional naturopathic therapies to support the health of the gut and the entire body.

Sarita Ford is a qualified counsellor, psychotherapist, hypnotherapist, and meditation teacher. For the last 20 years, she has been helping individuals and groups overcome emotional obstacles standing in the way of healing.

Taking a solution focused approach, Sarita guides her clients with a combination of talk therapy, creative visualization, emotional release, hypnosis, and relaxation techniques. Sarita’s approach helps bring awareness to the present and create a new future for the body and mind.

Because of the intimate connection between the gut and the brain, many clients report that their work with Sarita is the missing piece of their gut healing puzzle.

Wednesday has a Bachelors of Health Sciences in Complementary Medicine and Naturopathy. She supports patient success as both a naturopathic assistant and receptionist. Wednesday is passionate about advancing her skills in the natural treatments of IBS, SIBO, and functional digestive disorders.

Danielle is a Naturopath with Advanced Diplomas in Naturopathy and Western Herbal Medicine & has 15 years of clinical experience. She has spent the last 9 years pursuing her passion for everything gut related, by completing many comprehensive training courses and self publishing a book to help support patients newly diagnosed with Coeliac Disease and Non- Coeliac Gluten Sensitivity.

As practitioners at the Biome Clinic, we don’t call ourselves ‘healers’ because your body is the healer. We serve as guides—helping you discover what you uniquely need to experience relief and healing as nature intended.
